This middle school event is a great opportunity for students to connect with Jesus and other middle schoolers in a fun and save environment. We have over 20 trained leaders present and some who are nurses and we also have a police officer onsite in a patrol car. There will be plenty of games, giveaways, and food. Students will love the hip hop music and message by Christian rapper and the First Rapper in US military history, Lamar Riddick! There will also be plenty of other activities throughout the evening and into the early morning. You can check out our lock-in schedule as you scroll down.

NOTE: Bedding, bags and pillows will not be permitted, but students will be encouraged to sleep during our designated sleep time. Students sleep in our sanctuary area on the cushioned chairs, while a movie (Sing) or two plays until 6:30AM. Leaders are present and awake the whole time.

Who is Lamar Riddick?

Lamar Riddick is a close friend of our church and youth ministry. He has ministered to our students on more than one occasion and they have been blessed by his music and ministry.

Last year Lamar Riddick made a huge move becoming one of the first to enter the military in the official position of a rapper. Yes, you are reading that correctly. He holds a position in the US Army Field Band as a resident rapper.

Of course, It was even more encouraging that he was a believer with a track record of producing music and an educational background in the business, preparing him for such an opportunity.
