We desire to “partner” with parents in raising their teenager to become a great man or woman of God. We want to build strong lines of communication with parents so they can be a part of what's happening. Every month we send out newsletters with all the information parents need. So if you’re a parent, don’t hesitate, sign up now.
What is the best way for my teen to get connected at the Edge?
The best way is to simply show up. Everything from our services, events, and small groups are designed for your child to get connected. Every Wednesday we create time before and after our youth service for students to connect with each other. On Sunday night we have small groups to give every student an opportunity to connect with other students and leaders. Our events are created with the purpose of teens getting connected with other teens.
Will my son or daughter always be safe and well chaperoned?
Every service and event of the Edge has strict rules that drugs, alcohol and any form of weapon are completely banned. PDA (public display of affection) is not tolerated either. It is a high priority to always provide a safe environment for healthy relationships to be established. For that reason we always make sure we have at least a 10:1 student to leader ratio. All of our leaders have had legal background checks and are qualified to work with teenagers. Check out our leaders page to see who is investing in your kids lives.
Is there a way I as a parent can be more involved?
Our primary goal with parents of teens is to partner with them. With your help this partnership can work both ways. There are several different areas that we need your help to make the Edge all that it can be. There are also different levels and types of commitment you can make. Signing up for the parent newsletter will show you all the different areas that you can be involved in, both short and long term.

Some of our Edge events will require students to have a medical release form on file. By filling out a yearly medical release form you will no longer have to notify us of that information on each permission slip. |
