At the Edge our leaders’ passion is to help students become complete in Christ. We know this is impossible for one of us to achieve, but together all of us can. There’s nothing greater than working as a team.
Serving in leadership at the Edge is a great opportunity to connect with teens to help transform their lives in Christ. It doesn’t matter what your gifts are or even your background because it’s critical that we are a diverse team. You will experience personal growth as you give in service. If you’re interested in becoming a leader take some time and follow the steps below. Becoming a leader is no small thing, but the rewards are worth it!
- Pray and seek God’s will through the entire process
- Fill out an Edge Leadership Application Form and turn it into Youth Department
- Get a background check – This will be done through Grace Assembly
- Application will be evaluated by staff
- Attend the Edge youth services for 3 weeks
- Meet with Pastor Phil
- Abide by standards for leadership
- Sign Covenant
- Ministry Placement

- Attend weekly youth services
- Attend Sunday services at Grace regularly
- Attend monthly leadership meetings
- Attend prayer meetings
- Commit for a full year
- Give notice if you cannot attend any meetings or events
- Participate weekly in your assigned ministry area
- Uphold the Edge leadership standards
- Give at least a 2-week notice if you must resign from leadership
